April 24, 2019 prof. Mykhailo Khvesyk (director of the Public Institution «Institute of Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine», Academician of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics)  and Anna Obikhod (head of the  Department of Natural-Technogenic and Environmental Safety Dr. Sci., Ph.D. ) participated in the general meeting of the Economics Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine devoted to a scientific report named "Natural Resource Sphere: Status and Ways of Preservation".

Key aspects of the reports concerning the current state of Ukraine's natural resource and other key priorities for its preservation. The report was focused on the issues of ecological and natural-technological safety. There were clearly identified a number of points related to certain aspects of national wealth evaluation, the ways and methods of its involving into economic activity.
