On March 22, 2018, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Nature for Water" was held within the framework of the Global Water Partnership under the auspices of the World Water Day on the basis of the Institute of Water Problems and Melioration of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The director of the institute academician Khvesik M.A. participated in the conference with the scientific report "Sustainable water use is an important factor of socio-economic development".
